Caswell occupies the original site of the Historical Queen's Hotel. The
Queenıs Hotel, destroyed by fire in 1890, was rebuilt only to be lost by
fire again in 1919. The building, which was rebuilt again, is the structure
we occupy today. Previously known as the Hotel Bernard it operated as such
until Mr. Caswell purchased the site in the 1940's after the second world
war. It has since been known as the Caswell Resort Hotel.
Steeped in History, this site has been providing both solitude and adventure
for well over a century. You will feel the nostalgic innocence of the
untouched land while enjoying the luxury of modern facilities and service.
Come, be a part of Ontario vacation history.
